On Tuesday 18 January 2022, within the redesign of the visual identity of its service in charge of the management of .lu domain names, the Restena Foundation has launched a website dedicated to its registrar activity.

In mid-January 2022, the Restena Foundation updated the visual identity of its service in charge of the management of .lu domain names, but not only. This modernization involved the redesign of the dns.lu website, and the evolution of the my.lu platform into the accredited registrar for .lu dedicated website.

All about the Restena's registrar

my.lu goes much beyond access to the online platform for domain name registration and management. It is now the new reference website for registering and managing domain names with the Restena’s registrar. This can be done according two management options: the classic option - by sending and exchanging forms - and the online option - via the dedicated platform. my.lu is organised around four main areas.

  • 'Classic management', including operational information specific to the management option involving the submission and exchange of forms.
  • 'Online management, including operational information specific to the management option through an online platform.
  • 'Operations' providing generic information on existing operations.
  • 'About' consisting of general information about the registrar and its management options.

Updated forms for classic management

In parallel to the website, the content of the registration and management form has been updated.

    From now on, the form is expanded thanks to:

    • the integration of two new options 'Transfer the ownership of a domain name (changing holder)' and 'Transfer the management of a domain name to Restena's registrar', replacing the former forms dedicated to these operations;
    • the possibility to fill in the DNSSEC data associated with your domain name(s) thanks to the new section 'DNSSEC protection (optional)'.
